Odorkor Church of Christ was formed in January 1984, after evangelical workaround Odorkor vicinity by the Church Christ, Nsawam Road.

One of the Churches which was planted around the same time is the Accra Church of Christ, New Town.

Some of the people who led the process were George Akpabli, Wisdom Kpehor, Isaac Amoh, Kwame Ansah, Samuel Amoh, Jonathan Dickson & Preachers; Daniel Ampadu Asiamah and Winfred Sackey.
